About George Thomas Jr.
George Thomas Jr. is an award-winning
filmmaker and screenwriter with
a diverse professional background that includes print and broadcast journalism,
online marketing, computer programming, salmon research and traditional Irish dance.
His film studies include undergraduate work at Indiana University and he was a charter graduate of The Film School—Seattle's innovative screenwriting institution cofounded by actor Tom Skerritt and writer Stewart Stern ("Rebel Without A Cause").
George has been a screenplay contest judge and provides insightful script analysis, conducts screenwriting and filmmaking workshops, mentors developing screenwriters and publishes an e-mail newsletter with screenwriting tips, film critiques and more.
