All of Me (1984)
Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin, without a doubt two of the funniest people in comedy, make this film one of the funniest films of the decade. In fact, both Martin and Tomlin received Golden Globe nominations, and rumors were rampant that Martin was going to get and Oscar nomination as well. Even if you think you're not a Steve Martin fan, you will be after this film. Martin plays Roger Cobb, a misguided lawyer who is selected to handle the estate of a dying rich "witch," Edwina Cutwater (Tomlin). However, Cutwater's flamboyance (and enormous wealth) leads her to believe that she can buy eternity by transmitting her soul to a younger, healthy woman (Victoria Tennant). However, the real fun begins when her soul mistakenly lands in Cobb's body. Carl Reiner directed this comedy classic.
