Barcelona (1994)

Whit Stillman wrote and directed this well-written film, which follows the relationship between two cousins in anti-American Spain. Christopher Eigeman plays a U.S. Navy officer who, while in Barcelona on official business, decides to spend a few days of R&R with his cousin (Taylor Nichols). The dialogue is excellent and the relationships are intriguing, particularly when romantic interests (Tushka Bergan and Mira Sorvino) enter the picture. Eigeman and Nichols are excellent in their roles, and the humorous one-liners are many.
