Have you ever picked up a novel and read the first sentence or paragraph and then decided you didn't need to read anymore? The first page of your script is a promise of equal importance; it reflects your ability to not only establish the tone and genre of your story, but also your ability to fulfill your promise to producers and actors and executives' assitants that your script will be an enjoyable, entertaining reading experience.

Every producer I've met says—unsolicited—that 95 percent of the scripts they get:

Once you circulate a script that does not meet industry standards, you are the writer whose work nobody needs to read again.

"Best I have had so far from people who know about filmmaking, screenwriting and all around know what the hell they are talking about."

In essence, what is obvious to the writer is not always obvious to the reader; thus it is imperative to eliminate any chance a producer has to toss your script aside in favor of any one of the numerous other scripts piled around the office—and make no mistake, producers' offices are filled with stacks of scripts waiting to be read:

So your script needs to be as polished as it can be to compete with what's in those other stacks.

Be the writer whose work producers want to read and enjoy reading

Whether you want to sell your script to Hollywood, seduce an A-list actor for your indie film, or get your sitcom on the fall TV schedule, the harsh reality is you are competing with a very limited number of professional screenwriters who have mastered the techniques and story elements I include in my thorough script analysis.

I can identify the areas of your script that can help elevate the quality of your writing to meet those extraordinary industry expectations.

What you get from my script analysis

I will provide a comprehensive analysis, minimum 9 pages, modeled in part after industry script coverage, which includes a customized ranking grid evaluating 19 key aspects of your story, including the strength of your characters, dialogue, premise and other key story elements that reflect how well your script meets industry expectations. In addition to identifying areas of strength, I will identify ways to further strengthen your script.

How to submit your script for analysis and coverage

Important: Be sure to copyright your script prior to submitting it for any script analysis or coverage.

For a limited time I am providing script analysis and coverage for US$75.00. Scripts longer than 120 pages will not be accepted. Within 7 to 14 days of receiving your script and signed release form* I will e-mail you a report (in .pdf format). For your protection against fraud, secure payment is accepted online only via PayPal, and I back my service with a full money-back guarantee.

* Requesting a release form is standard industry practice by producers, script consultants and even some screenplay competitions. Legitimate producers, in particular, will not work with writers who refuse to sign a release form.
